METTA FUND

SFNCT is proud to work with Metta Fund on an Aging & Older Adults Grant Program that empowers our centers to better serve older adults. In particular, these programs share common goals of fighting isolation, creating new healthy habits, building confidence, creating new connections amongst friends and community, and improving physical, social, and psychological health.

THE Joseph & vera long foundation

Established in 1966, The Joseph & Vera Long Foundation is a private, family foundation that envisions a world where natural resources are preserved, opportunities are created for children and youth to thrive, adequate care is provided for the afflicted and most vulnerable, and women are supported.

mayor’s office of housing & community development

The Mayor’s Office of Housing & Community Development (MOHCD) helps our Neighborhood Centers build organizational capacity to better serve their participants and strengthen their own teams. MOHCD’s support allows us to offer valuable shared services and to engage with consultants to bring expertise in needed fields.

We also appreciate the support of our past funders, including the Walter and Elise Haas Senior Fund, The Whitman Institute, United Way of the Bay Area, the San Francisco Foundation, The California Endowment, and the Evelyn and Walter Haas Jr. Fund.
